Intrigued by simple line drawings of the human form I was particularly drawn to this image. I used my palette knives with the paste in a more delicate fashion, to create the outline of the entwined bodies to reflect a gentle affection, rather than passion. That moment when just being with someone skin to skin is enough for relief for the soul.
Although she may have a delicate frame, the strength in this piece is from the woman, her man just so grateful for the love he has for her.
