Acrylic on Stretched canvas.  Colour continues onto sides of canvas.

Inspired by a sunset sky, I wanted to paint with pure bright colour to reflect the intesity of the evening sun's rays filling the room. The Splash of colours is layered using a pallet knife, the colours layering and mixing at the same time. The end result to me... the sparkling effect of sunlight on the Ocean as seen from below - perhaps a dolphin's eye view!
