At the end of August 2018, I gave away FREE ART to whoever could find it!
I spent the month of August painting in miniature onto large beach cobbles… why? … because I was inspired to just give some of my art to others to brighten their day!
I felt I wanted to give to others (strangers) in some meaningful way other than the usual RAK things to do, and what better way than to give something of what I do best… which is my art. So I decided to paint 12 miniature versions of my work onto cobbles so that I could leave them outside in public places for anyone to find and keep… or even give as a gift to someone else to brighten their day too.
But also gave away a painting too worth £180 to the 'findee' of stone number 9 - which was Amelia who was visiting Norwich (I left that particular stone outside the Forum) with her family. So that painting went to Kings Lynn.
This was just my gift to others (locally), but I hope it has inspired people to do their own giving for no reason other than for the pleasure of it and the spark of happiness it may bring to another.”
