This was an experiment with extra thick texture. I used course pumice gel here which created this lovely broken, rough surface. The final piece does seem to have a nautical feel, but this work was actually inspired by the need for an emotional emergence from a place of darkness to light. Something that could only happen by letting go and letting 'it' float to towards the lighter end of the emotional spectrum. This depicts the journey.
This painting is on 100% cotton canvas stretched over a deep (approx 3.7cm) wooden frame and is signed on the front. It does not require additional framing and is shipped with hooks and wire so that it can be hung immediately after unwrapping.
All artwork is signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
This item will be carefully shipped in a cardboard crate.
