Acrylic & Acrylic paste on Stretched canvas. Colour continues onto the deep sides of this canvas – which is ready to hang.
This piece was created at the same time as a "Restful Wander" which was a commissioned painting. This time I painted the whole canvas a base colour first to experiment with how the paste and paint looked on a darker base. Again though I was focusing on a soft and gentle emotion to the piece.
The name is taken from two parts.... the blue colour 'Wedgewood' and the same second name as it's 'sister' painting... 'Wander', which is actually similar in the way as a horse is often given a name made with reference to both sire and dam! That is a happy coincidence.
All artwork is signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
